Quality Cannabis should appear vibrant in color. Colors can range from limegreen to purple depending on the strain's characteristics. Trichomes, the little white puzzy looking appendages, are typically a good indication of high quality cannabis.

When handling quality cannabis, the bud should have a spongy and sticky characteristic. The cannabis should not be wet nor completely dry. It should break apart with ease from the stem.
